Particelle di realtà-finzione si combinano con segmenti sonori del film che perdono la loro individualità strutturale, mettendo così in scena l'irreale irrealtà del sistema tecnocratico dittatoriale nel quale viviamo.

All the stuff was composed and recorded in the April of 2004 by Fabrizio Matrone and Fkd. Nel 1980 William O'Neil costruì un dispositivo audio elettronico chiamato The Spiricom. O'Neil sostenne che il dispositivo era stato costruito secondo specifiche da lui ricevute psichicamente da George Mueller, uno scienziato che era morto sei anni prima. In una conferenza del 6 aprile 1982 a Washington, D.C., O'Neil dichiarò di essere in grado di tenere conversazioni bidirezionali con gli spiriti attraverso lo Spiricom e fornì gratuitamente le specifiche del progetto ai ricercatori. George Meek, collaboratore di O'Neil e industriale in pensione, attribuì il successo di O'Neil e l'incapacità degli altri di replicarlo, al fatto che le capacità medianiche di O'Neil fossero parte integrante del ciclo per far funzionare il sistema. Questa composizione è completamente basata sulle registrazioni originali di O'Neil e Meek con Mueller attraverso lo Spiricom, come materiale di partenza.
In 1980 William O'Neil constructed an electronic audio device called The Spiricom. O'Neil claimed the device was built to specifications which he received psychically from George Mueller, a scientist who had died six years previously. At a press conference on April 6th 1982, in Washington, D.C., O'Neil stated that he was able to hold two-way conversations with spirits through the Spiricom device and provided the design specifications to researchers for free. O'Neil's partner, retired industrialist George Meek, attributed O'Neil's success and the inability of others to replicate it, to O'Neil's mediumistic abilities forming part of the loop that made the system work. This composition is completely based upon the original recordings of O'Neil and Meek with Mueller through the Spiricom, as source material.

When we first had the idea to create a collective musical project we really liked the simplicity of the surrealist cadavre exquis, but we knew that it had been done many times already. So we decided to expand the concept by introducing several variations to the original, making it evolve in new directions.

This is a collection of old tracks found in a forgotten folder. This lucky discovery, together with intense studies on the pre-imperial Rome, lead the artist to a severe, hidden and suffocated editing inspired to the 'Ides of March'. This work would describe the atmosphere and the scengraphy of one of the ferocious historical events about the Julia dinasty. Five movements that end with the most notorious and tragic murder of the history.

Lociverba is a site-specific performance. The performance is therefore a multimedia project adaptable to the characteristics of the hosting space, and so unique every time, ready to exalt them through the environment and music. Dennis Shocker nasce in Russia e inizia ad ascoltare musica elettronica sin dalle elementari nel 2002 e se ne innamora. Successivamente inizia a produrre e a suonare come dj; dapprima seguendo il rap e il rock e in seguito collezionando dischi di musica elettronica aprendogli la strada a diversi generi e stili. Nel 2004 un suo amico gli fa ascoltare Terry's Cafe 7 introducendolo alla deep-house e spingendolo a far uscire tutta la sua creatività.
Born in Russia, Dennis Shoker started listening to electronic music from elementary school in 2002 and fell in love with it. Since there Dennis started going to parties in high school and this eventually led him to become interested in production and djing. His favorite genres were rap and rock, after a while both became boring and flat. From this point he began to collect electronic music tunes, which opened him up to more genres and styles. In 2004, his friend bought the album Terry's Cafe 7 and that introduced him to deep-house. Deep-house has brought out all of Dennis Shoker creative instincts.

I titoli dei vari brani evocano il progressivo inaridimento e surriscaldamento del nostro pianeta attraverso 'immagini' sonore polverose e soffocanti.
A Mouthful Of Dust is the first volume of A Soundtrack For The Desertic Landscapes concept. The main theme of this new serie is the desertification of planet Earth. In this first part, Plastic Violence worked ina sort of 'industrial glitch-western', where you can find noises produced by engines, drones and semi-improvised guitar riffs. Titles evoke the escalation of parching and overheating of our planet through suffocating and dusty sonic 'images'.

Sine3pm in collaborazione con Controfase presenta Canto Notturno. Suoni isolati in uno spazio dilatato, immobili, freddi, distanti, che generano diverse gradazioni di densità. I pesanti interventi del tubax, la voce fredda del flauto, i rintocchi del glockenspiel, i suoni secchi di un pianoforte che stentano ad esaurire la propria coda. A dar loro vita le parole del poeta italiano Giacomo Leopardi: «Che fai tu, luna in ciel, dimmi che fai, silenziosa luna». Quattro musicisti hanno dato le loro quattro personali interpretazioni del pezzo, partendo tutti dallo stesso materiale sonoro. Quattro visioni sullo stesso oscuro mondo evocato dal poeta.
Sine3pm in collaboration with Controfase presents Canto Notturno. Isolated, steady, cold, distant sounds in a expanded space, that create different density gradations. The heavy voice of tubax, the cold sound of flute, the notes of glockenspiel, the endless melodies of a piano lay with Leopardi's words: «Che fai tu, luna in ciel, dimmi che fai, silenziosa luna». Four artists gave their personal interpretations, starting ftom the same sound materials. Four visions of the same obscure world evoked by the poet.

"Ianurek 5.0 x 100 rappresenta un mondo metafisico creato per interagire con chi lo ascolta. Le forme e i colori disegnati, riempono la mente, portando l'ascoltatore in uno status i cui contorni sono rappresentati dai vari punti di unione tra le tracce. Il disco nasce da un soggetto/forma rappresentato in primo piano, che tende alla contorsione plasmatica; tale movimento si trasforma nel cuore pulsante dei brani il cui concetto va ricercato nell'interazione fra i suoni, esattamente come il punto di coordinata finale (5.0 x 100), che se associato all'eterno scorrere del tempo, sottolinea quanto l'imperfezione dei mezzi meccanici renda la durata di questo disco altamente soggettiva e relativa". Gianclaudio M. aka Kaeba, nasce a Roma nel dicembre '85 da padre persiano e madre italiana. Il moniker deriva dall'egiziano "ka" e "ba" che rappresenta il punto di unione fra la vita e la morte, attimo in cui siamo tutto e nulla. Proprio da questo relativismo assoluto nasce la musica di Kaeba, volutamente astratta, senza struttura convenzionale, ma con una forma precisa, delineata da suoni scolpiti nella mente. Essere persi in se stessi è il modo migliore per esprimersi senza dover parlare.

Each of the six pieces of this release has been designed with the intention of making the listener aware of the environment that constantly surrounds us. The sounds come and go in and out of our perception creating waves of images and feelings. The sounds of radiators, ventilation systems, machines bipping, clicks, humming generators, small crackling noises sometimes hard to perceive, subtle music and other field recordings are modified using digital programs and mixed together, sometimes with classic instruments, through computer software to create subtle melodies.

Tutte le composizioni sono state pensate per una fruizione priva di qualsiasi riferimento visivo, quindi nella quasi assenza di luce. L'unica, 01 è stata concepita in modo completamente differente, ovvero creata su immagini preesistenti.
Circolari per paesaggio is an attempt of audio exploration, searching possible and impossible landscapes. All the tracks are studied for a blind listening, without any visual references, just like in light absence. Only track named 01 was born in really different way, built on already existing images.

FkDrone and fmchloroform, after several experimental and punk-wave records on four tracks cassette recorder, decide to record Alphaville under the moniker Womb with a badly working computer, and it is a mixture of instrumental improvvisation, drones and fields recordings, dedicated to genius of Jan Luc Godard. Monochrome.Landscape è una suite composta da due movimenti di uguale durata, dalle sonorità rarefatte ma intense. I due artisti dialogano con sapienza ed equilibrio amalgamando melodie, riverberi, suoni concreti con una maturità solida e allo stesso tempo soffice.
Fourth meeting between Esa (multimedia artist based in Vicenza) and Sine3pm. This is a work made in full collaboration with experimental artist Adrian Juarez (based in Buenos Aires, Argentina). Monochrome.Landscape is a suite splitted into two equal duration parts of rarefied but intense sonorities. Sine3pm in collaborazione con Grey Sparkle presenta "Hue - Live at Lab 12 - Part 2: Playing Other People - My Bundle Of Files". "The first time I played live alone was in 2003, at Superfici Sonore, where I was supposed to be only a spectator and a groupie. Resounding Sculptures è un nuovo lavoro concepito e realizzato da Kinetix (Gianluca Becuzzi) per Sine3pm. Le tracce che costituiscono questo lavoro si basano sul concetto di 'composizione per masse sonore' formulato negli anni '50-'60 da Iannis Xenakis. Per questo motivo, nei brani presentati, ai criteri compositivi tradizionali (armonico-melodici / metrico-ritmici) si sostituiscono diversi criteri di carattere plastico-spaziale-materico. Le fonti sonore utilizzate per la realizzazione di queste tre tracce sono state estratte da opere di Francisco Lopez, Zbigniew Karkowski e Iannis Xenakis, autori dai quali Resounding Sculptures è stato ispirato e ai quali è dedicato.

This live set took place on 11th november 2005 during the Alg-a á superfice days at the art department of Pontevedra University (Galicia, Spain). ''The initial idea for this work has been of a abstract sound sculpture of sinaesthetic colours and forms. This work's unique performance took place only once during a night organised to raise founds pro tsunami victims. My attempt has been to symbolise the immense destructive and disharmonic wave, and at the same time the seed for reconstruction and hope embedded in it. The adaptation of the live performance to the recorded media also expand the meaning of the work to the issue of human activity, environmental impact, nature and its energy. This work was suggested to me by ''Marasma'' work for drum and gamelan by Davide Tidoni (used with permission).''

L'intento era di fare uscire questo progetto il primo aprile, a un anno esatto dalla nascita, ma una serie di coincidenze hanno procrastinato l'uscita di questa ventesima produzione (da cui il 'later' del titolo). Da qui il concetto di ritardo diventa cifra estetica dell'intero progetto; il concetto di concluso/definitivo si trasforma nel concetto filosofico di 'in fieri'.
A compilation in order to celebrate Sine3pm first birthday. The aim was to publish this project on 1st april, but some coincidences postponed this twentieth release issuing. The concept of delay becomes the main project cypher from the esthetical point of view; the concept of finished/defined shifts to the philosophical concept of 'in fieri'.

Stella Maris Hotel è il secondo prodotto nato dalla collaborazione artistica tra Kinetix (Gianluca Becuzzi) e fAb (Fabio Orsi). Le cinque tracce che costituiscono questo lavoro sono state composte durante l'inverno 2004/2005 in seguito a uno scambio reciproco di idee e materiali sonori tra i due artisti. Nelle intenzioni degli autori, Stella Maris Hotel vuole essere rappresentazione sonora di un determinato tempo/luogo, dei suoi umori e delle sue atmosfere: una sorta di ''Sound-postcard'' in cui viene ritratto un paesaggio familiare e, allo stesso tempo, ipotetico. L'ascoltatore viene indotto a ''riconoscere'' i soggetti rappresentati attraverso processi interpretativi che confrontano direttamente suggestioni sonore e immaginario soggettivo/collettivo. Un gioco semantico di specchi che riflettono forme in perpetua transizione tra la dimensione uditiva e quella simbolico-mnemonica. Snow Palace Hotel is the second product of the artistic collaboration between Kinetix (Gianluca Becuzzi) and fAb(Fabio Orsi). The listener is induced to ''identify'' the represented subjects through interpretative processes which directly compare sound suggestions with subjective/collective imagination. A semanthic game of mirrors reflecting forms in perpetual transition between auditive dimension and symbolic/mnemonic one. Secondo lavoro per Esa su Sine3pm. In seguito a S.Thala uscito il settembre scorso, Luigi Turra ci delizia nuovamente con microsonorità che si sviluppano a partire da un concetto semplice quanto efficace: quello di tradurre, attraverso un particolare software, forme grafico/pittoriche in suoni/frequenze/ritmi attraverso una regola semplicissima ma rigorosa; considerando che il nero totale equivale al silenzio, le scale di colore equivalgono a frequenze via via sempre piu udibili nella scala che porta fino al bianco ottico. L'artista è all'opera per realizzare la versione visuale che uscirà prossimamente.
Second work for Esa on Sine3pm. Following S.Thala (september 2004), Luigi Turra delights our music taste with microsounds born from a simple but effective concept: associate graphic forms with sounds/frequencies/rhythms passing through a clear but severe rule: posting the optical black with acoustic silence, all remainig colors will be translated into different frequencies until the optical white/absolute noise. «Quanto c'è in ''...(Reverse) Inferno.'' È l'indice di una gestazione difficoltosa, reattiva, di un lavoro/fantasma composto in una comunità/fantasma. Fantasma è il lavoro perchè quanto si ascolta qui ne è una parte, metà del disco, che manifesta proprio l'impossibilità di presentarsi nella forma di allora, vale a dire per come nacque. Fantasma la comunità nella quale è nato dal momento che ogni comunità è una continuità mentre quanto la fa avvenire a oggi è solo lo spazio di una diffrazione che non sussiste più per niente. Quindi una comunità verso la quale sebbene si fosse presenti si Richiederebbe come nei grandi duelli sempre la scomparsa della sua dualità, quindi della linea biologica o umana che lega i protagonisti ai loro fili. Quanto c'è in ''...(Reverse) Inferno.'' È l'estratto (tre tracce su sette più altre due successive, ma non specificher quali) di un lavoro che da privato e personale, ora diventa pubblico e gratuito».
Electroacoustical ambient work for (etre) who composed three of these five tracks about one year ago for another album which would have been produced by S'Agita Recordings (r.i.p.). The title of that work was La separazione degli amanti (Lovers' separation). He worked with field recordings captured by three microphones installed onto the walls of an empty room on the third floor of an house. What these microphones recorded was all and nothing in the same time. «This work is the ghost of itself» says (etre), because it is not the original entire work and overall because is ghost the community in which he composed it.

Croissants Fourrés Crèmé Chocolat by Francesco Giannico (Mark Hamn) is an evocative work, sometimes melanhonic. Sound atmospheres full of reverbs, echoes and digital or analogical dust, merge with concrete sounds of everyday life. It's a meditated and meditative work; in its ambiental textures sound extracts bring back to our reality and then ferry back to the abstract shores.

Reprendre A La Musique Son Bien è stato registrato in un periodo nero; ombrosi sono i suoni che avvolgono i suoi 50 aritmici e atemporali minuti di metallo e legno strutturalmente, casualmente e inevitabilmente sperimentali... micro-follie microfoniche dal retrogusto amaro, un male per l'orecchio...'' così Turing's Cyanide Poisoning, al secolo Stefano Bernardi, descrive queste dieci tracce di atmosfere che disorientano e spingono l'ascoltatore verso la soglia della claustrofobia. Luci narcotico-psichedeliche illuminano a giorno dolci ''nonmelodie'' di deliri industriali dalle tinte rosse e impalpabili, ''un'anima scura e rumorosa'' versa gocce di passione nella composizione analogica di sfondi di memoria elettronica.

Fondali di basse frequenze su cui poggiano sonorità granulari, riverberi di ritmiche ovattate che si intrecciano con lievi crepitii caratterizzano la struttura/architettura di questo ep che, per chi vi scrive, ben figurerebbe nei cataloghi della succitata etichetta tedesca sia in quelli dell'etichetta newyorkese 12k.
S.Thala Ep is Luigi Turra's fourth release for under his moniker Esa. Four tracks of wrapping and rigorous sound design that consciounsly refer to the german label Raster-Noton. Low frequencies landscapes where granular sounds rest, wadded rhythms reverbs that interlace with soft crackles, characterize the structure/architecture of this release. According to the editor, this ep could be published in the catalogues of the above-mentioned german label or in those of the new york based 12k.

Mglon è un giovane compositore spagnolo, attivo soprattutto nel campo dell'elettroacustica. Questa sessione live è stata registrata in occasione del SINSALaudio al Marco (Museo de Arte Contemporaneo) a Vigo (Spagna) nell'estate del 2004. SINSAL organizzò tre concerti dove suonarono Komet, Alva Noto e Mglon stesso.
Mglon is a young spanish electronic composer. He mainly works as electroacustic performer. This live session was recorded for SINSALaudio at Marco (Museo de Arte Contemporaneo) in Vigo (Spain) during the summer of 2004. SINSAL association promoted three concerts where played Komet, Alva Noto and Mglon.

''I can't exactly remember what really happened to me in January of 2003, and I don't exactly know what happened to my friend Eugenio in that cold month. I just remember that in the last few years, especially 2001, January has been a very awful month for me. It could seem almost ridiculous, but in each slice of my life, except maybe for work, everything was going bad: sickness, death and deep love troubles happened to me and all around. In 2002 and 2003 a lot of stress overwhelmed me, making me feel anxious and ill. Ever since, that first month of the year, which signifies beginning, change, hope and love for many other people, for me now means only fear. So, I started working on a ''cathartic'' song in February, about all of these things, putting in noises, phone sounds, distant drills and the melody of an old music box that plays a very sad melody. I talked about it on a music internet newsgroup, Oltre Il Suono, and a guy that I didn't know before replied to me, and told me ''Well Hue, it's the same for me: we are two!''. I asked him to join the project, proposing to make a split album together, about that first month of the year. He's Eugenio Maggi, aka Cría Cuervos, and he made a wonderful icy track starting from mine and from my samples. I heard it in August, and I finished my version with new samples from him in September. Finally we can issue it, for now only through the web, thanks to our friends Adriano of Ctrl+Alt+Canc and Alberto of Sinewaves. I can only say thanks to you all, and to all the listeners."

Sperimenta con i suoni dagli anni 90 utilizzando tecnologie come Macinthosh Classic 4/40, 33 mhz, Cubase ver 1.8.3, midi Yamaha fs1r, Procussion, Vortex, Quadraverb, Juno2 and Echo Rockman. Spazia dalla musica ambientale fortemente evocativa alla techno-trance rumorista. promotore del gruppo artistico Konoba, collaboratore di Luther Blisset e prolifico ideatore di installazioni audio video realizzate con vecchi elettrodomestici in disuso (Hic et Nunc), ha collaborato con numerosi artisti e ha inoltre musicato alcuni video artistici di Paolo Comuzzi. Vive e opera a Udine.

He mainly works with Macintosh Classic 4/40, Cubase 1.8 ver. 1.8.3, midi Yamaha fs1r, Procussion, Vortex, Quadraverb, Juno2 and Rockman Echo. His sound ranges from evocative ambient music to rumoristic techno-trance. Founder and promoter of arts group Konoba he also worked with Luther Blisset, he realized several audio-video installations made up with old household appliances (Hic et Nunc). He also did soundtracks of several Paolo Comuzzi's videos.

The inspiring idea behind Sinewaves' Origine Comune (italian for ''common origin'') project is to analyze some of the wide possibilities offered by both analogical and digital sound technologies in order to create and to edit sounds. Each artist was asked to create a track starting from a common sample given by Sinewaves; absolute freedom was granted to the artists in the creative process in order to point out their innovative skills to adapt forms, materials, sounds or ideas. The result are the free tracks downloadable from this website. Sinewaves wish to thank all the artits that took part to this project and everyone who is interested in it.
